Foods that Fight Wrinkles!

Age-Away Skin Cream is great for getting rid of wrinkles, but you can hit ‘em with a double-whammy by eating these wrinkle-fighting foods!

  • A high concentration of carotenoids in your skin may mean fewer furrows and wrinkles, a German study found.  These brightly colored antioxidants fight damaging free radicals produced by ultraviolet radiation. You’ll find them in cantaloupe, apricots, carrots, sweet potatoes, and spinach.
  • Ellagic acid may stop skin wrinkling and the inflammation that leads to photoaging. That’s what Korean researchers discovered in a series of lab tests. Eat more berries and drink pomegranate juice to reap these benefits.
  • Choose foods rich in vitamins A, C, and E plus the minerals zinc and selenium. They may ward off wrinkles by zapping free radicals. That means eating plenty of colorful fruits and veggies like squash, papayas, mangoes, peaches, oranges, kiwifruit, red bell peppers, and broccoli. Enjoy low-fat milk, eggs, nuts, seeds, and fortified whole-grain cereals as well.
