We all love a clean, fresh-smelling home. But, nobody loves toxic, harsh, chemicals that can leave you with burning nostrils or a headache after you clean! Check out these 5 all-natural, do-it-yourself cleaners:

  1. All-purpose: Mix ¼ cup vodka, 2 ¾ cup distilled water, and 15 drops of your favorite essential oil for a gentle, non-toxic, multi-purpose cleaner!

  2. Carpet: For pesky carpet spots mix one teaspoon of clear dish soap and one cup water. If wet, blot the spot dry, then pour the mixture and let sit for 10 minutes, and lightly scrub until it’s clean.

  3. Bathroom: Fill a jar up with 1.5 cups baking soda, ½ cup warm water, ½ cup dish soap, and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Use it on your tub, shower, and tile floors for sparkling clean grout!

  4. Hardwood Floors: This one is as easy as it gets. Dish soap and warm water work wonders on your hardwoods!

  5. Air Freshener: Add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil to a spray bottle, add 1 tsp salt, stir it up, fill the rest of the bottle with water, and shake it up!
