Storage Solutions for Your Garden Hose
Hide the hose but keep it close. Don’t let an unsightly hose spoil the beauty of your garden. Stash it away in a decorative, covered bench. Not only will this make cleanup faster, you’ll have a convenient place to take off your garden clogs and store your gloves once the work is done.
Store your hose in a tire. Constantly tripping over your hose? Give it a safe home. Paint an old tire to match your landscape and coil the offending hose inside. It should be easy to move around the garden and unwind.
Wind hose around wheel rim. Need a cheap, but effective, hose reel? If you have an old, metal wheel rim hanging around, your problem is solved. Bolt the rim to the side of your hose or to a sturdy fence, and coil the hose around it. You can spray paint the rim to disguise its humble origins.
