10 Ways to Clean With Vinegar

 

windows and mirrors

Mix one part white vinegar and three parts water, spray on windows, and dry with newspaper.

toilets

Pour one cup undiluted white vinegar into bowl, let stand five minutes, and flush. This white vinegar formula makes any toilet automatically spic and span.

dishwasher

Place a cup containing white vinegar on bottom rack of dishwasher and run through full cycle to remove soap buildup in your machine.

tile mildew

Spray on equal parts white vinegar and water, wipe with a sponge.

Wipe down with white vinegar and rinse with water.

stainless steel, ceramic sinks, chrome, and appliances

Dip sponge or cloth in white vinegar and wipe clean. Polish to a shine with soft, damp cloth.

Fill a watertight plastic bag halfway with white vinegar, place over shower head so head is submerged in vinegar, and secure with a rubber band. Leave on overnight, then rinse with hot water.
