Share Your Photos with an Online Album
Many of the same companies that make prints of digital photos, such as Ofoto, Shutterfly, and Snapfish, also give you the option to create online photo albums. This allows you to share your pictures for free with family and friends.
Keith, a Web application developer from North Carolina, takes advantage of this high-tech idea to save money.
“I’ve used online photo albums quite a bit. It’s and excellent, quick and low-effort way to allow friends and family anywhere in the world to view your latest photographs,” he says.
“It seems like I post them every time we take a vacation or some major even occurs – a big snowstorm, class reunion, etc. Because I spend so much time on the computer, digital photography as essentially replaced ordering prints.”
Give an online album a try. It’s a big change from the old days and a big improvement on your finances.
“The amount of money and time, that I save by using an online album service is remarkable,” Keith says. “Instead of creating a limited amount of photos that I’d then have to mail to individuals, I can post as many photos as I’d like and distribute them to everyone I want to see them. My 96-year-old grandmother has even looked at some of my online photo albums!"
